Our 10-acre lavender farm lies on a southwestward facing slope in Ashland Oregon. Ashland rests in a valley located twenty miles north of the California border. The valley offers the ideal growing conditions for herbs with a perfect balance of dry heat and moderate humidity.
The healthy environment of our plants, and our alternate harvesting practice provides a microclimate for honeybees and butterflies. Our farm also houses a kitchen for recipe testing and our newly remodeled herb house for storage and preparation.
Ashland Herb and Lavender was founded in the year 2000 by Amelia Arapoff. Amelia’s love of herbs for cooking, aromatherapy and medicinal remedies, coupled with her love of the French region of Provence, inspired her to create Ashland Herb and Lavender farm and distribution company.
